The harvest outfit is sized for porch geese of 17, 23 and 27 inches: Small, Standard and Large. It is an intermediate project that takes about 4 h, in 15 steps. For a 23 in goose you need ¾ yd of brown print and ⅜ yd of cream fabric. You will practice gathering a skirt, attaching a round collar and making a tie-on apron.
The harvest outfit is a brown print dress with a round cream collar, a tie-on apron with a waistband and a lined bonnet with a brim and ties. It is cut from the same pieces as the Mrs Claus outfit, so once you have sewn one, the other is familiar. The brown and cream make it a fall and Thanksgiving outfit.
Good for: Halloween and fall porch displays (more in Halloween and fall goose outfits) and a Thanksgiving porch (read Thanksgiving porch goose outfits).
Photos are renders of the finished outfit, made from this pattern's shapes.
