When to sew which

The pumpkin and harvest outfits work from early September. The witch and ghost are for October. The turkey is for Thanksgiving week, and the scarecrow fits anywhere in the fall. If you sew one outfit a month you can change the goose with the season.

What goes into each one

Witch

The most involved outfit of the set: a black top with puff sleeves, a cape cut as a half circle, a two-tier orange skirt that you gather, and a pointed hat with an interfaced brim and ribbon ties. 14 steps, about 4 hours. Porch goose witch outfit pattern, hat included.

Ghost

Pumpkin

Scarecrow

A plaid or rust main fabric, a denim or blue fabric and a straw-colored fabric for the hat. Porch goose scarecrow outfit pattern.

Harvest

Turkey

Sizes and fabric

Height: base to top of the head. Body: around the widest part (fits = the size it is drafted for, max = the most it takes). Head: around the head and beak.

Cotton 44 in wide unless the pattern page says otherwise.
