Who we are
Sewzy is a small independent team that makes a sewing-pattern app for iPhone. We built it for people who want to sew real things, like clothes, bags, gifts, plushies and porch goose outfits, without guessing their size or decoding pattern jargon.
What Sewzy does
- 76 sewing patterns, each with every size included.
- A letter-size PDF to print at home and an A0 file for a copy shop.
- A short written step-by-step guide for every pattern.
- A size finder: enter bust, waist and hip and it tells you which size to cut.
- An AI sewing coach you can ask while you sew, and "find a pattern from a photo".
How our patterns are made
The patterns come from an independent pattern designer and are licensed to Sewzy, drafted in every size. The product photos on this site and in the app are renders of the finished items, and they are labeled that way. Step guides are short written steps; we do not show a drawing for every step.
About the AI coach
The coach and the photo search send your question or photo to our server, which asks Google's Gemini model for an answer. It is a helpful second opinion, not a sewing teacher: it can be wrong, so check its advice against your pattern before you cut. Photos are not stored. See the privacy policy.
