The Santa outfit is sized for porch geese of 17, 23 and 27 inches: Small, Standard and Large. It is an intermediate project that takes about 5 h, in 17 steps. For a 23 in goose you need ⅝ yd of red fabric, ½ yd of white fabric and ¼ yd of black fabric for the belt. You will practice gathering a skirt, setting in puffy sleeves and binding the neckline with ties.
The Santa outfit is a red dress with a round white collar and a white band at the skirt hem, a black belt with a buckle, and a cap with white trim around the face and a pom-pom. It needs three fabrics, red, white and black, and at 17 steps it is the longest of the goose patterns.
Good for: Christmas and winter porch displays (more in Christmas goose outfits).
