The Porch Goose Outfit is sized for porch geese of 17, 23 and 27 inches: Small, Standard and Large. It is an intermediate project that takes about 3 h, in 13 steps. For a 23 in goose you need 1⅛ yd of fabric. You will practice gathering a two-layer skirt, setting in puffy sleeves and lining a bonnet.
The Porch Goose Outfit is the plain dress and bonnet: a top with puffy sleeves, two hemmed skirt loops stacked and gathered, and a lined bonnet with a frill and ties. It uses one fabric throughout, 1 yd for a 17 in goose and 1½ yd for a 27 in, so any print you like can become an everyday outfit.
