The ugly sweater outfit is sized for porch geese of 17, 23 and 27 inches: Small, Standard and Large. It is an intermediate project that takes about 4 h, in 14 steps. For a 23 in goose you need ½ yd of cream fabric and ½ yd of red fabric for the skirt. You will practice gathering a skirt, setting in puffy sleeves and binding the neckline with ties.

The ugly sweater outfit is a cream top with a green felt tree on the front and red stripes on both sleeves, over a red skirt, with a cap and band. The tree and the stripes go on before those pieces are sewn together, so you appliqué flat fabric, not a finished top.
