Pick by the pillow form you have (or want to buy). The cover is cut to the form size so the pillow fills it plump. Kid fits a lumbar form; Standard and Large are square.
Canvas, duck, home-dec cotton, corduroy, denim or a sturdy quilting cotton: Kid ¾ yd, Standard 1 yd, Large 1¼ yd (45 in). A contrast for the pocket if you like (¼-⅓ yd).
