Outer + handles: cotton canvas, duck or denim (8 to 12 oz). Lining: quilting cotton, ripstop or a lightweight canvas. Pocket: matches the outer or a contrast quilting cotton.
You also need
- 1 two-way separating zipper, cut to size (see Cut by measurement)
- 1 in cotton webbing for the handles
- Optional detachable strap: 1½ in webbing, 2 D-rings + 2 swivel clips (size per the cutting chart)
Pattern pieces
Body (cut 1 outer + 1 lining on fold), Pocket (cut 1 outer + 1 lining on fold, outside slip pocket)
Seam allowance: ⅜ in (1 cm) included. The fold edge (bag bottom center) has none.
