The Mini fits a phone, wallet and keys; the Tote takes a 13 in laptop.

Outer: nylon, ripstop, waxed cotton, velvet, corduroy or quilting cotton. Mini ¾ yd, Tote 1¼ yd (60 in wide). Lining: cotton, Mini ½ yd, Tote ¾ yd. Batting: high-loft polyester (½ in, 45 in wide), Mini 1¼ yd, Tote 2 yd (two layers on every panel).

You also need

  • ¾ in magnetic snap
  • Walking foot, 90/14 needle, thread
  • Optional: 1 in D-rings + swivel clips for a detachable strap
